Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for Integrated Pain Medicine

Are you looking for a practice that offers more for patients than the status quo? Do you often feel that there is a better way to help a person heal? We do too! And now, we are seeking our newest team member for our integrated pain medicine center. At our practice you’ll find services ranging from cutting-edge interventional pain management and psychological support to physical therapy and functional restoration. We have professionals offering holistic medicine and alternative approaches like acupuncture, chiropractor, and yoga. As a clinician your responsibilities will include: H&P, medication management, evaluation and adjustment of treatment plan and appropriate referrals. This is a full-time, outpatient practice offering a flexible schedule. Experience in pain management is preferred, however we encourage new graduates to apply because training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess health status by obtaining relevant health and medical history.
  • Perform physical exams.
  • Identify significant health and medical risk factors.
  • Orders, interprets and evaluates laboratory test and other diagnostic studies to assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Develop diagnosis by analyzing and synthesizing collected data.
  • Develops a treatment plan along with the patient and significant others.
  • May prescribe and monitor medications.
  • Develop patient education plans.
  • Work with healthcare team members regularly to ensure quality patient care.

Compensation:

We offer a comprehensive package based upon experience: $120,000 –$150,000 

Qualifications:

  • Must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience in Pain Management preferred
  • New Graduates will be considered
  • Will provide training and direction for recent graduates or providers without a pain management background.

Schedule:

We offer flexible hours depending on your needs. Our typical schedule is a 40-hour work week. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, No call, No weekends.
